A Eulogy to Dr. Jack H. Irving (1920-2008)

To ATRA Leadership and Membership:

The country is facing a series of major challenges to the urban mobility on which our society depends. If not addressed effectively, these may lead to grave consequences. I believe there is an opportunity here for ATRA to play a major role in addressing these issues.

This is the 1997 Major Investment Study (minus the executive summary) that was created in anticipation of installing a personal rapid transit system in the city of SeaTac in Washington State. SeaTac is the airfront community of Seattle Tacoma International Airport.
