As a result of some discussion at the Pod Car Conference in San Jose, I assembled the attached. The second page is from the January 21, 1972 issue of the New York Times, which lists PRTi first. The third page shows where the StarTrib was in 1984. The fourth page is I think a real gem.

To ATRA Leadership and Membership:
The country is facing a series of major challenges to the urban mobility on which our society depends. If not addressed effectively, these may lead to grave consequences. I believe there is an opportunity here for ATRA to play a major role in addressing these issues.
